30 Days of Hummingbirds – Day 9

📸”Come Here Often? – 30 Days of Hummingbirds – Day 9

📝Photographer’s Note: Sometimes (a LOT of times) the right shot isn’t your best shot. At least that is the way I feel about this one. The subjects are there, the composition is there, but because my settings weren’t right the photo isn’t as crisp as I would like it to be. I’m ok with shots like this because I can see where I went wrong and know how to adjust next time.

❓Did you know a hummingbird must consume approximately one-half of its weight in sugar daily?

  1. Donna, I bought Topaz Sharpener AI and was amazed at how well it works. It would probably sharpen this already good photo to the point where you think it’s the right shot.

    • Thanks for the tip Anne (and compliment)! I’ll look into it. If I had to do this one over I would have set my aperture to f/8, but it was during the Blue Hour and I was really struggling with the lens speed. Oh well, next time…..thanks again for the suggestion! 😉
