📸”Come Here Often? – 30 Days of Hummingbirds – Day 9
📝Photographer’s Note: Sometimes (a LOT of times) the right shot isn’t your best shot. At least that is the way I feel about this one. The subjects are there, the composition is there, but because my settings weren’t right the photo isn’t as crisp as I would like it to be. I’m ok with shots like this because I can see where I went wrong and know how to adjust next time.
❓Did you know a hummingbird must consume approximately one-half of its weight in sugar daily?

Donna, I bought Topaz Sharpener AI and was amazed at how well it works. It would probably sharpen this already good photo to the point where you think it’s the right shot.

Thanks for the tip Anne (and compliment)! I’ll look into it. If I had to do this one over I would have set my aperture to f/8, but it was during the Blue Hour and I was really struggling with the lens speed. Oh well, next time…..thanks again for the suggestion! 😉
