30 Days of Hummingbirds – Day 14

📸”Please Don’t Ruffle My Feathers!”

Another photo of one of the hummingbirds in Dad’s yard. Perched on a very dead dogwood tree that needs to be taken down, this little guy and his friends use this tree as part of their runway to and from Dad’s hummingbird feeder. I think we’ll leave the dead tree alone for now!

30 Days of Hummingbirds – Day 9

📸”Come Here Often? – 30 Days of Hummingbirds – Day 9

📝Photographer’s Note: Sometimes (a LOT of times) the right shot isn’t your best shot. At least that is the way I feel about this one. The subjects are there, the composition is there, but because my settings weren’t right the photo isn’t as crisp as I would like it to be. I’m ok with shots like this because I can see where I went wrong and know how to adjust next time.
